Pokémon GO, which was a huge hit in the summer 2016, is a typical example of augmented reality (AR). You move in the real world and view it through a camera, which displays the world as is, except with added digital elements or objects. As its name suggests, it is your normal reality “augmented” with digital animations or other modifications.
