Electric Scooters

Electric pedal scooters are driven by an electric motor. The control of the speed resembles the control on a motorcycle. Most models will not drive without your assistance, meaning you will have to push yourself off a few times and then the electric motor will take over. The ride will be somewhat heavier due to the weight of the engine compared to a classic pedal.

What to consider when purchasing an electric scooter?

  • Maximum speed - on most scooters the speed ranges between 20 and 30 km / h.
  • Range - is influenced by the weight of the rider, riding style and rate of climb. Most scooters can handle 30-40 km on a single charge.
  • Speed ??charging - indicates how long the scooter charged from 0 to 100%. Ranging from 4-8 hours.
