In-ear headphones, such as ear buds, are ideal sports headphones as they fit snugly in your ears, block out ambient noise, and are more comfortable during hot and sweaty workouts than over-ear headphones.

What else should I consider when choosing wireless headphones

Wireless technology

Bluetooth headsets - have a range of about 10 metres from the playback device; can be connected to many portable devices, making it ideal for use at home or on the road.
Radiofrequency headset with USB transmitter - have a range of about 10-12 metres from the playback device and can be connected to a laptop or desktop PC. Ideal for use at home and on the go. Radiofrequency transmitter headphone is inserted into the USB port on the playback device.
Radiofrequency headphones with broadcaster - have a range of up to 100 metres from the station. Due to the increased size and weight of the broadcast station, it is only suitable for home use. Broadcast stations connect with most players via a 3.5mm jack, fibre optic cable or RCA.
