I was a satisfied user of the previous version - APW Shpunty. This model is at least subjectively the same, the changes are mainly related to the dock - Wireless charging of the dock is a great improvement, the snap-in lid is also fine.
But what totally threw me off is the state of the batteries in which the headphones arrive - when I bought 2 pairs (black and white) - after a full charge it was clear that there was something wrong with the white ones, as they ran out after less than an hour of use, while the black pair lasted 3 hours. after checking the battery status via bluetooth, I found out that the problem is the left earpiece - so I opted for a complaint and replacement with another pair. With the second pair I got to 1h 30 min, so I'm going to complain again. I decided to do a comparison test and record the percentage of flashlights on both headphones in a graph. I connected both pairs simultaneously to the computer, set each of them to their own output (VLC player in the loop) and set them to the same volume. the percentage of flashlight I got through (bluez) I repeated this in 3 scenarios:
- both headphones
- left headphone only
- right headphones only - unfortunately, when connecting simultaneously I couldn't set the same codec for both pairs, so in one scenario one pair was on SBC, while the other was on AAC, but in another scenario I switched them to partially compensate - it doesn't seem to have a significant effect on the endurance. one interesting thing that I observed when testing the Lavy headphones - the black steam headphone played noticeably louder towards the end of the test - I don't know if this is some kind of battery wipe mode. The following chart is attached.
