I wanted a Chromecast because of the KODI and the ability to have multiple flash drives connected (the TV only has a single USB port), but in the end I still appreciate the ability to stream video using Chrome from a computer connected to the same network. At the beginning I was unsure about the docking station and KODI functionality, but there was no problem. KODI works thanks to Google Play, the docking station also works. I purchased the AlzaPower USB-C Dock Station 5in1 and needed to make sure it was wired directly into the Chromecast. Its power supply and the Chromecast power supply is provided by the AlzaPower A100 Fast Charge 20W plugged into the USB-C port on the dock.
Because the built-in HDMI cable is short, if one needs to have everything a little further away, this can be solved with a quality USB-C extension cable or a 4K HDMI extension cable.

Samsung's smart TV has done a good job of detecting Chromecast and doesn't try to override it or steal the video signal
does not play sound for some MP4 videos played from the local disk
removing the disc is buried in the settings and sometimes the disc is not even visible - NO video player can load it (tested with MXPlayer Pro)

Great, actually I bought it only because of HBO, which on all previous multimedia centers in the price category 3500-4500 did not work (Venz, Tesla, etc.), the image was terrible, so here completely without problems quality image without tearing and mosaicking. Easy to use.
It arrived without an adapter, I bought a normal Svissten charger for a few crowns and no problem.
For me, a great product for a few pennies.

Even after years since the launch of a great device, you can see that the manufacturer takes care of it and so everything works beautifully. Things that competitors don't solve like TV integration, SDR/HDR switching, frequency switching according to content work great. Compared to previous boxes with similar hw configurations, this one almost blended in with my TV (clearly still a single HDMI device. ). The only disadvantage for us in Europe is the unavailability of the adapter with ethernet, in the US it is $20 and here nothing and even on ali they want more for it.
