Honestly? It sounds exactly like you'd expect from a two-litre soundbar. If your TV sounds like a tin bucket, this is a clear upgrade. I might recommend Tendo soudbar only to someone who has a TV with a soundbar in one room and sleeps in another room. I bought a barrel for my TV based on the reviews. I can't even tell that it has average sound and the volume is at 6 at most. But that after a few days the soundbar starts making a high-pitched crunching sound which I would compare to the quiet scratching of nails or chalk on a blackboard, which the soundbar makes even when not connected to the TV, I really didn't expect. I claimed the soundbar, the soundbar was in repair for a month, after the successful repair I connected the soundbar to the TV and everything was fine, but only for the first 2 maybe 3 weeks, then the sound reappeared. So I'm not even thinking about complaining anymore. I think it would be better to take the barrel to an electrical waste collection yard. So a summary in conclusion: If you need to buy a barrel for TV, don't buy this one.

I'm a sound engineer, so it's not going to be easy for this one-foot-long crumb. Fortunately, I bought it on sale for 1200 czk and so I am absolutely satisfied with the price / performance ratio. Especially for the younger generation, the lack of dense bass will be a problem; even a mini device like a precision BT speaker can bass more. At the same time, the sound bar is big enough that the bass could theoretically be very good, but unfortunately it's not. When you tweak the parameters (3D, bass boost to max, music mode) the sound improves dramatically. I recommend it for everything (spoken word, action movies, normal music), except modern music where thick bass is necessary. The TV improves this product multifold, but I repeat, I rate it at a price of 950 czk without VAT, for a three-piece it would be a huge disappointment. PS: If you have good ears, the speaker is not at all confident even in the mids and highs, and while the sound is beautifully spacious, it is far from a hifi experience. At high volume, the above distortion and poor quality is noticeable, but only for music, action movies are fine. For the full price, I strongly advise against it.

Non-functional connection via HDMI or fibre optic with TV. I subsequently connected the TV to another device both via fiber optics and before HDMI without the slightest problem. After connecting the TV via BT, the sound quality was average. I returned the item the same day I received it.

My first soundbar, I guess I wasn't expecting a rocket for this one, but on the very first run (the upside is a totally easy pairing with the TV) came a hard, unpleasant sobering realization that I'd thrown two grand out the window. Bass is a dirty word for this soundbar, if you turn the volume up to more than 15 you hear a rather unpleasant sounding rattle from the device as if the speakers don't want to be there at all. The 3D effect does make a difference between the effect being off and on, but it doesn't change the fact that there are still crazy sounds at higher volumes. For low volume ok, the sound is probably a bit better than from my TCL TV. Don't! I guess I better pay extra next time 🤷.

I use TV. TCL. and via HDMI. everything works as it should. You have to watch everything on TV. set the soundbar to go. There is no Dolby Atmos sound on the soundbar, but for a small room in 3D stereo surround sound is enough, unless you are too demanding.
