Perfect bass, sometimes I think they are too strong, and very dense. In the end I set the sub to Bass +4 (the range is from -10 to +10) For some movies I give only +2 sometimes even only 0. I use the soundbar in my office of about 25m2 (about 4x6 meters) and have it connected via bluetooth to a projector. The assembly is on the shorter side of the office, 4 meters. So the screen and the soundbar are about 3.5 meters apart. I wouldn't choose a more powerful soundbar for my room, but next time I'd buy a newer one from sony that at least has fake surround sound, this one is totally spaceless. However, the bass component really gives these films an extra level of experience. Speech could be clearer, mids and highs more intense. It tends to hum and mumble a lot of that dialogue in movies. I tried to play a few songs, but it's no use, it's really terrible for music, it's impossible to listen to. The soundbar is designed for movies and it works better there than the TV speakers and as for the bass component, it is perfect, it produces the body and to some extent it feels like a cinema. I recommend the projector: ) I currently have the soundbar paired with a cheap YABER T1 Pro projector and it works great. BT is not lagging, the sound does not drop out and keeps up with the picture. Just turn on the projector and the soundbar will automatically turn on with it. This projector also tilts vertically, so you can bring it into your bedroom and project movies on the ceiling: )
Powerful basses
For movies it's sufficient, bass is great, I would say too strong many times: D The highs and mids could be more pronounced.
It's a bit of a downer, but it's okay for a movie. This soundbar is absolutely useless for music. It's not made for this.
It has no surround sound whatsoever, so I recommend not buying this soundbar with the expectation of some surround sound, because it doesn't have it.

I highly recommend this soundbar, especially if you are also buying a Sony TV. Compared to the built-in speakers of the TV, the sound presentation cannot be compared. The sound is clearer, the dialogue is better understood (great for the hard of hearing) and in movies the subwoofer adds "oomph" and impact to the sound.
