The perfect alternative to MREs on the go, just pour hot water over it. After pouring water, just stir. We haven't had a problem with any of the Summit to eat meals where anything melted and was dry.
Great in taste
There's enough food for 2 hungry adults

Unlike the competition (Adventure Menu, Real Turmat), this isn't a cooked meal that has been dried, but a mix of dried potatoes, vegetables and dried meat, and you can tell by the taste – it's on a par with Vitanainstant meals, maybe even worse (the meat tastes like pieces of jerky soaked in water). For basically the same price as the competition, this is a really big disappointment.

This is a quality product that I recommend especially for multi-day treks where civilization and other food options are not within reach. This is a very lightweight pack which is ideal in combination with a water filter and a small wood, gas or alcohol cooker. The preparation is very quick AND takes almost no time. It's worth having these meals in your home and throwing them in your backpack for any trip, and nothing will surprise you. A lot of restaurants and pubs are nowadays closed or completely closed down.
