Given the price, I bought the flint out of curiosity. I've never tried flint before. With the attached diaper, it didn't even give a spark. Then I tried the knife edge and bingo. It takes a piece of carbon-rich steel. In the end, a worn out blade from a jig saw served as a super replacement for the original blade. I crunched a few times on a paper napkin and the fire was on. And for the money. 👍😉
