on WIN10 problem when using with Microsoft USB 3.0 universal driver (0.96), in that case it doesn't work - the signal light is on, but nothing plugged into it, so it doesn't see it. On the NTB it also stopped the port, I had to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the USB controller. I got an older driver from the manufacturer (Asmedia) for my PC and now it works.

It's working as it should.
Micro USB for additional power supply
I haven't reached USB 3 data transfer speed yet and I have the hub plugged into some SS port. It could be an old Verbatim flash drive: -)

my phone charged this for 11 minutes by 5%, my charger for the same time 12%, so it's not a hit parade and I won't use it on the phone, but I have a lot of other crap for which it is fully sufficient such as USB desk light, then bike lights with USB output for the kids, headlamp, light chain and more for which I just didn't have enough sockets and adapter per thing, so for that this hub is great and instead of 4 adapters in the socket I have one socket occupied and everything in the hub. That's great.
charges and works as a power supply for all sorts of lights and things that you don't care how long they charge
not very good for charging the phone
