AXAGON HUE-S2BP 4-Port USB 3.0 CHARGING hub

The AXAGON HUE-S2BP 4-port USB 3.0 Hub comes with a 1.2m USB cable, power supply and fast-charging support on all ports. With this lightweight, compact splitter in a sleek plastic housing, you can quickly connect up to four USB devices simultaneously to your computer.
The fixed 1.2m USB cable is suitable for use with a desktop computer.
Included in the package is a power supply/charger with USB type-A 5V/2A output and 1.5m micro USB cable. The advantage of this solution is that you can use the supplied charger and cable universally, for example to charge your mobile phone or tablet directly.
Mobile phones, tablets, power-banks and other devices can be charged with a current of up to 2A in any hub port due to USB Battery Charging 1.2.
The device can handle permanent connection of several external drives without the need for an external power supply. After connecting the power supply, you can work with up to three external disks at the same time.
The USB ports are transversely positioned with sufficient spacing to allow for comfortable connection of larger USB devices.
The hub can also be used as a dedicated charging hub. It will continue to charge the connected USB devices from the AC adapter even after you turn off your computer or disconnect it from the hub.

Hub power via USB cable (bus power mode):
Power supply via the USB bus is sufficient to connect a low-consumption USB device (mouse, keyboard, card reader, flash drive etc.) or a device with own power source (printer, scanner, 3.5" external drive) to all four ports.
In this power mode, the USB hub can also handle up to 2 magnetic 2.5" external drives simultaneously.
Charging mobile devices (including iPads) is also possible in this power mode, but the charging current only reaches 0.9A, in some cases even 1A (depending on the computer).

Hub power via included USB charger (self power mode):
In this power mode, the USB hub can also handle up to 3 magnetic 2.5" external drives. However, to ensure long-term reliable operation of the hub, we recommend maximum 2 magnetic external 2.5" drives simultaneously.
Quick charging of mobile devices (including iPads) at up to 2A is available in each of the hub ports. The total current supplied by the hub during charging is limited by the output current of the 2A power adapter.

Charging hub without connection to a computer (charging hub mode):
After switching off the connected computer or disconnecting the hub from the computer, the hub can be used (with USB power) as a dedicated USB charging hub.Quick charging of mobile devices (including iPads) at up to 2A is available in each of the hub ports. The total current supplied by the hub during charging is limited by the output current of the 2A power adapter.
