Oscillating-rotating brush

The toothbrush has a small round head wherein the bristles surround the individual teeth. The head rotates in a semicircular motion and speeds up to 10,000 movements per minute.

Sonic (vibrating) brush

The brush has a generally elongated head and operates on the principle of sonic vibrations that vibrate the bristles by the speed up to 40,000 oscillations per minute and at the same time creates a fluid flow of saliva and water.

Cleaning heads

The advantage of electric toothbrushes is that the cleaning heads are interchangeable and manufacturers provide a range of options. With proper use, one head lasts two to three months. Some are equipped with intelligent fibers, which indicate that it is time to replace it.

Power

Brushes can use replaceable batteries or they are rechargeable. The latter solution eliminates the need to replace batteries and the vast majority of brushes have this option.

• Timer - The electric toothbrush notifies you when you have been brushing for 2 minutes, which is the time recommended by dentists. Advanced models have the timer set to four intervals of 30 seconds, to remind you to move to another part of the mouth.
