I wanted a cheap but functional camera that I could use on holidays and short trips even in bad weather. Which the camera brilliantly fulfils, in fact exceeds expectations. I expected an average picture but the opposite is true. Yes, the colors are a bit overdone. Especially the grass is deep green but otherwise everything is sharp. Recording is ideal in 4k, 2k is also not bad at 60 frames is also nice and smooth but in HD it is already visible that the quality is worse. Of course, for 4k you need to equip yourself with an appropriate card, as soon as you use a cheap one with poor speed be prepared for video and audio dropouts. What puzzled me the most is the non-functional app which has been nine years without updating to new androids, so with android version 12 and above you don't stand a chance. Lamax support told me that there is only one chance and that is a third party application. Fortunately, this option works and it is possible to transfer videos from the camera using wifi. With this option, however, you have to keep in mind that sometimes the transfer does not work as expected and the video is corrupted, it happens to me often. Anyway, the name of the supported application is SupCam Pro. Apart from these problems, however, it is a very good camera for the price offered, which will serve you very well and in case of loss or breakage you will not mind buying another one. I highly recommend it.
Better picture than I expected, of course in 4k. HD is already weaker but still at a good level.
Up to two hours of active shooting (tested)
Good image stabilization, no tearing.
Stock of holders
Czech menu
Large selection of modes including time lapse
Definitely the price
Annoying key sounds, better to turn off completely
Cannot control screen brightness, too bright in darkness.
You can't film it in the twilight though with any camera at this price.
The official app is not a feature on new androids, you need to download a third party app. See. Reviewed by

The camera is worthwhile for various shoots. Of course, everyone has a cell phone these days, but the camera is worth it for things where the cell phone is in danger of breaking. The resistance will be much greater and can be used on a bike, motorcycle, skis, etc. Alternatively, it can be taken into the water, as it is completely waterproof up to a certain depth.
has stabilization
it is possible to set what resolution it will record

Not every photo will work, but that's not even with a pro camera on dry land and the fish often don't cooperate either. But if you're looking for a good compact with an underwater housing this is a good choice. It shoots well on dry land even in the case so it could be used in the desert as it is dust and sand resistant.
easy to use, nice pictures of the sea underwater.
good price performance

The camera is fine and at a normal price. I don't need to buy a camera for tens of thousands of dollars. This is enough for me to shoot and I have videos of various events and trips with the kids.
various resolutions and other settings
decent price
accessories
a little fisheye, but that's expected with action cameras

For the undemanding and those who do not want to shoot in low light or in the dark under the evening, it is an ideal choice. Under artificial lighting the sum is quite noticeable and the records are practically unrecognizable. But for the price, a great camera

I recommend this camera to everyone who wants the very best compact. Videos are amazing even without editing, sharp, colors are saturated and of course in high quality. It is impossible to list all the pluses, it is a very good camera that I recommend to everyone who wants a small, cheap and compact camera.

I am a complete amateur video maker. For me, it is an absolutely perfect camera. It is definitely necessary to read the instructions and learn what everything " does". I definitely recommend it, especially the low price for a beginner is great.
