Price compared to the competition, which offers more
Missing power metering, but I take it that is mainly done on lights

Lower power
It has no power metering
Lower processing quality
Unnecessarily large
Cannot operate at higher room temperatures, e.g. over the summer I was forced to connect the PC directly after several times overheating.
The problems above wouldn't matter but at that price it's not enough for the competition. I purchased 3 sockets believing that philips makes quality products. As it happens, however, the impression of the brand is determined by other parameters than quality.

Fast pairing
Product quality
A bit misleading description that the socket can be paired with Homekit. Yes it can, but you need a Hue Bridge
It can only be switched off and on via the app and the timer can only be set for hours. You can't set the days.
For the money, it could have power metering in it.

When the led Christmas chains are plugged in, even after switching off, the chains flicker. This phenomenon does not happen with other smart sockets.
Unfortunately, it is not a defect on this possibility points out Philips itself on its website.
When used with led bulbs and appliances without problems
