I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the best streaming unit which is the Nvidia Shield. this unit is fine if you just want the basic streaming services like Netflix etc at a low price. it will not recognize hard drives larger than 2GB, which is the main reason that I returned it. I bought the Nvidia shield pro 2019, yes it's expensive but no other unit comes close, it does everything better than any other unit and nvidia support and upgrade is the best.

The devices are purchased as a replacement for a similar older Tesla device directly made on Skylink Live TV to an older Sony LED TV with an analog tuner. There was no sound after connecting via HDMI. On other newer TVs the sound worked. I installed the Skylink Live TV app and it kept crashing and throwing an internet connection error message even though the connection was apparently working. The message could not be turned off. I had to disconnect the device from the electricity with the switch on the back. Functions of other applications (youtube, etc. ) ) I didn' t even try. Maybe they work without problems. I definitely do not recommend buying the device and thereby “saving“ the life of an old TV for some time. The new Samsung TV works absolutely flawlessly.
