Objem batožinového priestoru elektromobilov sa príliš nelíši od bežných automobilov so spaľovacím motorom, a ak áno, tak skôr v pozitívnom smere. Niekedy síce časť kufra zaberajú batérie, ďalší priestor na batožinu však môžete získať v priestore, kde býva bežne umiestnený spaľovací motor.

Elektromobil Volkswagen e-Golf 2017 má objem batožinového priestoru 341 litrov, teda o 39 litrov menej, než má štandardný model. Vozidlá značky Tesla majú batérie umiestnené v podlahe, takže sa pri sčítaní objemu predného a zadného batožinového priestoru dostanú na ohromujúcu hodnotu 800 – 2000 litrov.
