Google Pixelbook competes with laptops and tablets

At first glance, the Google Pixelbook is a design. The surface of the laptop body is made of aluminum, which is complemented by a glass panel on the back. The glass is also made up of a touchpad surface, a backlit keyboard with silicone pad for comfortable writing and a 0.8 mm low stroke (MacBook design). Because it clearly links to Google Pixel 2 phones, Google is trying to symbolically link its two new devices.

The great advantage of the Google Pixelbook is its ultralight design and weight - in its composite state, its thickness is only 10 mm and weighs 1.1 kg. This is undoubtedly the thinnest notebook Google has ever produced, and is one of the thinnest laptops on the market.

But less pleasant information is that the Pixelbook Pen is not a standard part of the package, and its price in the US is about $ 99 (nearly $ 2,200).

What is most different is, of course, the operating system. Microsoft, like Google, has been part of the development of lightweight OS and has come to the world of Windows 10 S that is tailored to new Surface laptops. Like Chrome OS, Windows 10 places great emphasis on the security and smoothness of running the system - you do not run other applications and programs than those in the official store . And while Chrome OS is the same, it has a marginal advantage over Windows 10. The number of applications for Chrome OS currently exceeds the number of applications available on the Windows Store.
