All this is enabled by a 2x faster processor, giving you sharpness and breathtaking picture clarity that borders on that of a professional broadcast camera. The HERO4 Silver cannot record in 4K resolution, but otherwise matches the functionality of the Black edition. The built-in touch screen serves as a viewfinder and allows convenient operation.
You can even control it remotely using the GoPro App on your smartphone. All footage can easily be transferred to the big screen thanks to a built-in Micro HDMI port.
Entry level Price, GoPro Performance
The standard GoPro HERO model does not have the full range of functions of the HERO4 models, but at a price less than half of the higher-end models, it is excellent for those just getting started.
The HERO has a fully integrated waterproof casing, so you never have to hesitate when planning shots. It also has a useful Director function and records in Full HD.
