I expected the defects. If you want something of quality, invest in a more expensive chair. This chair is a staple that carries with it annoying flaws like creaking and various strange noises at the slightest movement on the chair.

I've had the chair for 3 years, but for two and a half years I've been using the comfortable extra seat, without it it's like sitting on a plank. I have got used to the looseness and instability (when the swing is locked and permanently in the lowest position), but the accidental release of the swinging mechanism which is repeated regularly is getting on my nerves. I can't really talk about comfortable seating with this chair, it hasn't been in the container for the last two years only because of my laziness to buy a new one, now it has overcome this barrier as well
