I wanted to invest in a computer with a longer term view. I was careful to buy a board with Z-690 chipset for the just released i5-13600K, but it didn't occur to me that the board needed a BIOS update, after the build the fans started but the display didn't light up. My son thought that the problem may be in the BIOS, which ASUS supports new processors only from 08/2022. The date of manufacture on the box was 12/2021, so it was clear. But without a compatible processor, I didn't move. If a motherboard with the 700 series BIOS had been available before the i5-13600K was released, I probably would have picked it up, but these mainboards came on the menu after the processor was purchased. It's a pity that you can't order a BIOS upgrade to the current version.

unfortunately, I found out that I bought a piece made in 12/2021, which at that time did not support 13th generation processors, it was necessary to upgrade the BIOS, but it was not possible without an older processor, I recommend to buy the BIOS update service at the same time, because you can not buy the service additionally, I had to solve it by buying an older processor, I sweated a lot with the update
in Windows 11, even after installing the included CD with drivers, I was left with two devices without drivers, I could not find them on ASUS website (VEN_8086&DEV_A77D and VEN_8086&DEV_A77F), Google did not help me much either
