I bought the Bose Portable Home because I had years of Bose Revolve which sounded awesome, so I figured I'd upgrade. Sound-wise, yes, but those assholes just turned off the voice assistants for CZ. So Alexa or Google doesn't work on it and won't work unless I scratch with a VPN to make it think it's in the US, or at least Germany.
I really don't get that they sell it here and then screw it up like that.

You pay 4 thousand. plus for voice assistants that don't work (I know I'm repeating myself, but it's a real problem)
And they're not ashamed to sell it
A little bit exaggerated bass when standing in the corner, it's made more to be in the space

I originally wanted to save money and bought a Sonos Roam (about half price), which also has wifi and allows streaming from Spotify. That was a big mistake, I spent hours setting up Roam - it was not possible to add Spotify and the speaker was not visible in the Spotify app. Finally, it resolved FW shutdown and connection to the Spotify server. Nowhere is there any documentation that Sonos uses for the port / protocol. after a week, the problem recurred, I ran out of patience and Sonos returned. and bought more expensive Bose - set about 10min with firmware / SW update bose. Everything is beautifully simple, no problem on the firewall / router. The app is excellently rated. The speaker just plays great! I' m kidnapped by what @ Wifi / BT manages to work beautifully, Spotify works perfectly together. It' s just big / hard to carry. I bought a charging cradle in action for 400 CZK. v Bose has a luxurious USB-C cable and adapter. Control is much better than with Sonos (separate button BT / power off, than with Sonos holding 2 or 5s one button, grrr).

does not work with older Bose app (soundtouch) - ie it is not possible to easily add this speaker to older Bose Soundtouch (soundbar, multiroom systems)
