Both levels of light intensity, zoom and battery life OK (when hunting for tracking, retrieving and transporting catch).
The red continuous light is useful for hunting when handling equipment or in the more difficult parts of night movement (shuffling).
The controls are intuitive enough.
Turning the light on and off by moving your hand in front of the flashlight is useful and the detection sensitivity is set correctly.
It can also be used with just a strap around the head (i.e. with the third one over the top of the head removed), which makes it more comfortable and faster when taking off and putting on frequently.
It's a bit bigger and heavier, which is the price of battery capacity, solid construction and zoom.

LED brightness and zoom are OK, red light is good for hunting in the field when handling equipment, operation intuitive enough, IR detection for off. (whispers): /zap. the movement of the hand is well adjusted.
It can also be used well with just the elastic around the head and the top removed (which makes it more operative for frequent donning and doffing).
Slightly larger size and weight (which is the price for the battery capacity, zoom and solid construction).
