the seat is lined underneath with a thin foam padding between the top blue and the bottom black layer, so it doesn't pull on you from the ground and the seat is softer than just stretched canvas, the black bottom is made of a material that is more tightly woven and smoother than the seat part, so it doesn't get dirty as easily and is easier to wipe off
the legs are connected by metal springs and always have to be squeezed and the spring stretched a little to unfold - over time, they wear out
you have to be careful when snapping the bottom of the legs so you don't accidentally put them upside down and have the seat inside out
