There are such rubber rings that hold the joints in place, they started to fall off and the mat started to wobble (cats love them, the rings spread all over the apartment). It's very slippery on the floor. The height adjustment is not entirely comfortable and only in three steps (would like it to be smooth). It serves a purpose, but I wouldn't buy it again.
