To see the full field of view offered by the binoculars, I have to force the pupils into my eyes so that the protective rubber around the pupils bends because it is too long. Then of course it hurts and I don't want to use the binoculars. The rubber cannot be adjusted in any way, it is simply one length.
The binoculars had a strong chemical smell on delivery.
