Disappointment on behalf of EATON Green Motion Home 11 kW Total disappointment. This isn't a wallbox, it's an expensive, unreliable wall box. After a few days, it was clear I didn't want this at home. He was back in a week. I expected a reliable and user-friendly product from a reputable brand, but the reality is different. 1. Complicated and confusing installation The manual is unclear, the technical documentation is confusing. Prepare for hours of searching for information that should be clearly stated. 2. Unstable connection / Control via app? Terrible. The wallbox control app is outdated, crashes, and communication with the wallbox over WiFi is unreliable. Several times it happened to me that the wallbox refused to charge because it "lost connection". Restarting your device is unfortunately a common routine. 3. Limited settings and missing features In 2025 I would expect dynamic power management, charge scheduling or integration with PV - here they are either not at all or only in a limited way and a complex interface. The user interface feels like something from the last decade. Summary: I paid 10089 CZK for the wallbox at the beginning of April 2025, then ALZA increased the price to the current 12990 CZK. For the price ALZA is asking for this wallbox, there are much better alternatives on the market. If you're looking for a reliable home charging solution, look elsewhere. Unfortunately, Eaton Green Motion Home is a prime example of how a brand with an industrial reputation can fail in the home technology sector.
