The straps are detachable and you can put the whole thing somewhere else, like on a helmet. That's what I did, and I tied the straps with plastic quick release straps.
It's holding up well
You can run with it, jump in the water or just walk around.
Everybody's out there looking at you and tapping their foreheads.
My QuickFlip is somehow loose, so the camera in it still rotates around even after tightening.

quickclip has a smaller attachment than the standard GoPro accessories, so it is not possible to tighten the screw properly to keep the camera firmly in place, prip. the screw should be shorter
