On my motorcycle I had a makeshift solution made up of a set of universal accessories. This solution was sticking into the space, it was digging into my shoulder and the components themselves started to crack after the first season.
The GoPro mount lived up to my expectations. I fitted it into the already glued rails on the helmet and everything worked perfectly.
Before buying a mount, I recommend you try to attach any rail counter to your helmet. On my helmet (Caberg Duke II) there is only one place to install it (can't be used either on the mask or on the top of the helmet, only side installation is possible). My partner's helmet (Scorpion ADX-2 Camino) is so profiled that the mount cannot be attached to it at all!
In terms of actual use, we had to experiment with the mounting, as the image was not in a horizontal straight line in the standard installation (as in the pictures here in the gallery). The installation "on the bat" solved it (see photo).
The inconvenience is that I sometimes managed to accidentally move the already set camera so that it was looking at the sky instead of the alarms, etc.
