On X299 platform throughput around 100GB/s and latency ~53ns is not a problem (2x this kit in quad-channel connection)
The height of 43mm may interfere with some coolers (the Fractal Define R5 was still working under the Noctua D15S in dual fan configuration, but I had to move the front fan up
Considering Samsung B-die memory chips I would expect an even bigger clocking orgy, especially on low secondary clocking (trfc) they can be hacky
