The GO2 met if not exceeded my expectations- small, compact, immediately at hand. For short videos and quick wide-angle photos for soc. networks ideal. Super settings for night photography. The app has a huge minus- you can't change the storage of downloaded files, everything is automatically downloaded to the phone's internal memory. In my case, I have to download the files one by one and manually play them on the SD card of my phone.
After first installing the app via the QR in the instructions (downloaded the installation package from the insta360 website) the app had trouble automatically switching wifi to GO2 wifi, after manually switching everything worked without interruption. After the second installation due to a storage problem (installed the app via google play) the app has a problem to connect and the phone to detect the GO2 (I would rather see it but for an Android bug).

This camera exactly met my expectations. I use it for filming short shots from bike rides and it serves this purpose perfectly. You don' t have to carry pointless GoPro mounts on your body or on your bike, you just put the magnetic pendant around your neck and the camera holds without any problems. Yes, it has less data and battery capacity, but I never record more than 20-30 minutes from one ride anyway, so I don' t have the slightest problem. When I want to shoot, just one click and the camera starts shooting in a few seconds. Overall, I am thrilled with the camera after a year of use.

The idea and the overall solution are great, the practical use is quite far from all the promotional videos. the camera will easily overheat after 10 minutes of recording, turn off the recording and do nothing. So the idea that you turn on recording during sports for 30 minutes is absolutely unrealistic. The conditions will probably be better in winter, but it will still have to go back to charge after 30 minutes.

The camera disappointed me a lot. Design and idea of charging in the package, data transfer - that' s great. However, working with the camera itself is annoying. Pairing with a mobile phone is similar to GoPro - via BT, the mobile phone finds the camera, it turns on Wi-Fi and the mobile phone connects via it. This all takes a long time and very often it doesn' t work. So instead of using it quickly, you' ll spend 10 minutes pairing, opening, closing, pressing buttons, and confirming in the app. After pairing, you don' t even know what you wanted to shoot. After a few days of use, it happened to me that the camera got stuck, did not go off or on, did not go paired with the packaging itself, became hot to the temperature, could not be held in the hand and came to her senses in about half an hour. I' m very sorry about this, because otherwise it' s a great idea.
