I use the camera primarily for filming POV videos while driving, and it suits this purpose very well. The camera itself is small, light, and easy to attach thanks to the magnetic accessories. The build quality of both the camera and the Action Pod is excellent, the package contents are generous, and the 4K picture at 30 FPS is lovely and well-stabilised. I also appreciate the integrated memory, the well-designed mobile app, and the support for Apple Find My in case the camera gets lost. The shorter battery life doesn't bother me too much when filming in the car, because I can continuously charge the camera using the car charger. The camera itself, when removed from the Action Pod, lasts for about 40 minutes of recording. When placed in the Action Pod, the entire set can manage roughly two hours. I originally wanted to use the camera for regular and longer filming as well, but in my opinion, it's not very suitable for that. Compared to the GoPro Hero I had before, its battery life is significantly shorter, even though the complete camera with the Action Pod is a similar size. Furthermore, it heats up quite noticeably during longer 4K recording. Another major disadvantage is the inability to connect an external microphone. For videos from the car, a high-quality recording of the engine sound is important, so I have to record the audio separately on another device and then sync it with the video. I would recommend the camera mainly for shorter POV shots, travelling, sports, or videos composed of multiple short clips. I wouldn't recommend it for long, uninterrupted recording, because the limited battery life and overheating are noticeable here.
