I plug in the 3.5mm jack and it plays - no app, no registration, no setup.
I click on the Bluetooth icon on the controller, pair my phone and play, no apps, no registration, no setup.
It's not connected to the internet, it's just a stupid speaker that plays.
It has good sound for a small living room of about 5x5 meters, it's not overbassed and you can hear both dialogue and explosions well.
I've been listening to music on it all afternoon and good, no rattling, no stuttering, I don't hear any frequency clipping or problem at higher volumes, none of it squeaks when the quiet part is on.
After some time of inactivity (about 15 minutes) it just turns off, I haven't figured out how to leave it permanently on.

I was pleasantly surprised by this soundbar - at this price point, it has amazing (meaning balanced) sound that takes TV viewing to a whole different level. It doesn't pull on the ears like other products.
However, it has its pitfalls. We would have welcomed a thicker and more pronounced bass, which is rather bland, and a night mode suitable for listening at low volume. A minor flaw is that the display either lights up constantly with adjustable brightness (low/high) (inducing active input) or not at all. The competition has solved this by turning off the display after a few seconds. In principle I can recommend it, but those who want catchier bass for more intense movie watching should look elsewhere.
