After buying sandals from this brand and having a perfect experience, I also bought solid shoes. The previous boots of another manufacturer have expired after 6 years (I discarded them for use in the garden). I've struggled with shoes since the beginning. The first adaptation to the foot, when after half an hour on the foot there was a problem with foot pain. After a few months it got better. Then the appearance started to deteriorate very quickly (used only for casual wear and once in a while for a walk on a dirt road or a light tramp). After a year, the shoes started to crack at the connection to the sole - thus they lost their waterproofness. After two years they are only for use in the garden in dry weather. After this experience I give up this brand.

shoe life even with minimal use about a year? subsequently cracked material at the connection to the sole - so waterproofness comparable to sandals. currently, after two years, the sole is starting to peel off.
