PS: After my review, Alza contacted the manufacturer, and he replied that after removal the lens has the claimed 56mm (what does it matter that the 3mm edges covered by the mounting ring can not count in the luminosity), and the field of view measured 5.3 degrees (and what does it matter that in the papers they have 6.1)
fits well in the hand

quite a clear picture
the lens is actually 50mm instead of the manufacturer's declared 56mm
the actual field of view is around 85m/1000m, t. j. slightly below 5 degrees, instead of the manufacturer's claimed 6.1.
the question is, how much of the ABS rubber-coated plastic in the construction can withstand the nitrogen filling
