I use it as an extender. It can be set to receive and transmit 2.4+5 GHz separately. You can also set the SSID you want. You don't just have to repeat and extend the guest's range, but have a different SSID in each room, for example. Everything can be set up straight from your phone without connecting anything with a cable. The web interface adapts itself to the display of your phone or PC monitor. Perfect for me.
