Wi-Fi Connectivity and Security
The wireless router supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards and transmits a signal in two separate bands. The 2.4GHz band with a speed of 300Mbps is used for basic internet browsing and sending emails, with a longer range through obstacles. For more demanding transfers, the 5GHz band with a speed of 433Mbps is used. Two fixed external antennas with a high gain of 5dBi ensure stable omnidirectional coverage in every corner of the home. Network security includes WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption along with an integrated SPI firewall for protection against external threats. Parents can use advanced control features that allow them to create time schedules, limit time spent online, or block inappropriate web content. A secure guest network separates visitor access from private network resources, thus protecting users' personal data.
Flexible Operating Modes and Connector Equipment
The device offers three operating modes according to the user's current needs. In router mode, it creates a classic wireless network; in access point mode, it converts a wired connection to wireless; and in range extender mode, it expands the coverage of an existing Wi-Fi network. The intuitive web interface facilitates configuration in just a few minutes without the need for complicated setup. It also supports QoS traffic prioritisation, the IPv6 protocol, and IGMP Proxy/Snooping technologies for optimised IPTV streaming. Physical connection to the external network and end devices is provided by standard Ethernet ports located on the back of the device. One WAN port is used to connect to the internet source, and two LAN ports are available for local network devices. The wired interface operates at a transfer speed of 10/100Mbps.
