Can also be tied upside down and placed on a flat surface
When inside the whole thing even with the belt it can be a problem to hit the switch. The strap pushes it to different sides so you need to be careful how you insert the headband.

Practical gadget in which you can put a headlamp with spare flashlights and serves as a case + flashlight for scattered light - in the tent, on the terrace, on the camping table, under the gazebo. With a high quality (unfortunately again quite expensive) Petzl Actik headlamp with a light output of 300lm, it lasted for 48 hours continuously on three micro button torches !
Price. Unfortunately I found cheaper only Chinese cloth sleeves-nets around 4-5 € but they seemed to me to be useless.
