I'm writing this review from the position of someone who, until a few months ago, thought that his stereo was enough to watch movies. Then I learned about today's home theater options and what modern codecs and devices like this can do and was blown away. After watching a few movies and TV shows with Dolby Atmos, I have to admit that the stereo can now go bury itself for movies. If you properly position the rear speakers behind you and "rock" it to some beats, the experience is guaranteed to be one level higher. I took off one star for a certain tininess/flatness in the dialogues and when listening to the music, which I would not expect in this price range. However, you probably can't get anything better for similar money. Just beware that if you want to play TrueHD from your files, the TV will not be able to do it 99.9% of the time. I have CX and TrueHD just won't read from the files. You'll have to buy something that can do that, like the Nvidia Shield 2019. With that combination, it's a total blast.
