Purchased as the cheapest possible headlamp for a child to play with, so as not to drag and discharge the expensive one from Petzl. What followed was a pleasant surprise that it wasn't a complete piece of crap. It can shine surprisingly brightly, it's lightweight and the strap is easy to adjust. It has 5 modes - strong white, weaker, wide cone, red light, red flash. They alternate by pressing the switch. On a 750mAh charge it lasted for an estimated 4 hours of childhood play (constant glowing in various modes, occasional bumping into things and siblings), then it got to the point where it just flashed red and there was no way to turn it off or switch to another mode. After removing/inserting the batteries, it stayed off, went on and flicked through all modes until the red blink, at which point it was stuck again. Recharging the batteries fixed it. Probably a trait.
For the purpose I bought it for and for how much it cost it is great.
