I had no illusions about the quality of the tent, but I thought it would last us a year or two. I really didn't expect it to last a week. I have experience with self-packing tents, so I followed the procedure when packing and didn't push too hard. It didn't help. We have another one, this one has metal bars (some flexible alloy) and it works great. I don't understand why Spokey didn't choose the same deal. I'd like to pay extra. I don't want to see anything from Spokey like that anymore. They are *****.
The design of the tent is good, which sucks if it falls apart after a few days.
After about the 3rd use, the laminate bars cracked and in two places. It's a piece of crap.
