It plays, but it's unbelievable garbage! Please heed the WARNING in the reviews about the annoying and extremely noisy voice responses (in English) every time you turn on, turn off or just change the audio input - there is NO way to mute or completely turn off these responses, unless you have an axe or wife on hand to sort it out with one well-aimed throw out the window straight at the car accompanied by a few slaps, so that you remember for future reference that shopping is a game of dumb and dumber.
