Power consumption

The general rule of the thumb is that the more powerful the appliance, the faster you can make your sandwiches. More power means the hotplates will heat up more quickly, resulting in faster sandwich preparation.

Size

The size of the sandwich maker determines how many square toasts you can make simultaneously.

  • 1 hotplate is ideal if you are making a toast for yourself only.
  • 2 hotplates represent the most common arrangement.
