the camera declares what all it can do (person, face, gesture, animal, fire, etc detection), but unfortunately the combination doesn't work for me. e.g. I want to set it so that if he sees a person and I make a gesture, he doesn't honk. but you can't set it, because when you set a gesture, it turns off all other detections. (in practice, it probably means that anyone can gesture and it will turn off - which you don't want, when a thief comes to turn off the camera with a gesture). I was expecting on the basis of the advertisement that it can detect a person, it can recognize a person who is stored in memory (face detection) and when this person shows a gesture, it turns off, on, etc. but I couldn't set up such a setup and their user pages (ai) told me it's not possible. the only thing that seems to work well is person detection. face detection is worse. and besides, it doesn't seem to me to be good either, because supposedly if you can't see the face well, it doesn't react at all. so instead of me coming in and the camera recognising me and switching off - which it should be able to do according to the advert! I'm gonna try to go the way of the aqara shutdown that's on the way. so I am very curious if at least the connection via zigbee will be ok with another device. otherwise the camera has ONLY 85db, and the alarm sound and other recorded sounds are quite quiet for an alarm. so I also bought a siren and a smart plug for the aqara, so that it would at least make some noise in the garage. (I haven't got it out yet, it's in process). For me, so far a big disappointment that it does not fulfill what it promises. - I would also call it misleading advertising, and if even with the switch it does not meet my expectations, = that it will at least be reliable for person detection and will work well with the plug and switch, then I'm going to claim it and, if possible, return it.

It would be a really great camera for automation and simple "security". It can do a lot and the Aqara mobile app can set up basic automation. Unfortunately, the connection to wifi both 2GHz and 5GHz fails and the camera disconnects very often (several times a day). The connection back is automatic, but it takes a long time (between 5 and 120 minutes). Resetting to factory settings or uploading the latest firmware will not help. I have two cameras and I tried them on different wifi (2 and 5GHz) and they both work. Hopefully the new firmware will fix it, but the one available now (28.9.2023) does not fix the bug. Unfortunately, the connection via a network cable is not possible. Due to unreliability I will give only three stars, otherwise it would be a great combination of camera and zigbee hub for Aqara accessories.
