The Call of the Wolf

A return to the world of the bestselling The Shadow of the Raven trilogy. The legendary Vélin Al Sorna is back!

Vélin Al Sorna is a living legend, his name is known throughout the kingdom. It was under his leadership that entire empires were conquered, it was his sword that won the fiercest battles - and it was through his sacrifice that an evil more terrible than anything this world has ever seen was defeated. He won countless battles, but traded his well-deserved glory for a quiet life in the Northern Provinces of the United Kingdom.

Now, however, rumours are spreading from overseas of an army called the Steel Horde, led by a man who believes himself to be a god. Vélin has no desire for another war, but when he finds out, that Sherin, woman, that he once lost, was in danger, decides to take this new one, to face a powerful threat.

Vélin therefore travels to the realm of the merchant kings, a land where the law of honour and intrigue reigns. It is there, in the dust of the endless steppes of the Far West, that Vélin realises a terrible truth: there are battles that even he may not be able to win.
