Cottagers

Spending time at the cottage remains a significant Czech phenomenon, even in the 21st century. Famous personalities present their cottages, country houses, and other (not just) weekend homes. What does screenwriter and director Petr Kolečko's study look like, and where does cardiologist Jan Pirk relax? Why did cookbook author Hana Michopulu decide to return to her childhood region? How did actress and presenter Lucie Benešová manage to build a log cabin on a ridiculously tight deadline? In this visually generous publication, you'll also discover why geologist Václav Cílek has managed nature instead of a garden at his cottage, how influencer and fashion publicist Lucie Janotová is renovating her cottage on a zero budget, or why artist Michael Rittstein maintains a reverent tomato patch.
