Felt brand
The motorcross mechanic Jim Mott founded Felt after designing and building a triathlon bike for the motocross star Johny O'Mar in 1980, who later won the California Times Championship. Jim moved into cycling, and in 1994 he founded Felt Bicycles, first under the patronage of Answers Products, and since 2000, he has expanded to Europe and has expanded his portfolio of mountain bikes and BMXs as well.
