The newest version, featuring the 2012 R2 Foundation, is dedicated explicitly to a smaller environment with a maximum of 15 users. Furthermore, license restrictions apply only to HP ProLiant branded servers, which have just one physical processor. There is no need to have client licenses (often referred to as " CAL), and you can save money by purchasing an external backup disk. It can only be used for single-site servers.

Future owners should note that the Foundation platform does not include the Hyper-V virtualisation tool, smart VPN technology Direct Access, and the Server Core control mode. Môžete nám poradiť, máme od Vás Windows Server 2012 R2 a vzdialená plocha nám ide len 180 dní po prvotnej inštalácii. Je tam problém z licencovanie vzdialenej plochy. Je nutné dokúpiť nejakú licenciu - akú ? Chceme sa len pripájať na server cez vzdialenú plochu Remote Desktop Connection, nič viac. Alebo je to všetko len v nastavení ? Ďakujem za radu.

Dobrý den, padla tady v minulosti otázka bez uspokojující odpovědi ohledně omezení funkčnosti RDC na 180dní. Jak to prosím s tímto omezením doopravdy je? Bez vzdálené správy by pro mne byl takový OS značnou komplikací ....

Dobrý den, je tato licence vhodná pro tento server?: HPE ProLiant DL320e s těmito parametry: CPU: 1231v3 (4 jádra 3,4 Ghz), HDD: 2 x 1TB 6G SATA 7.2k 3.5in, RAM: 32GB, Řadič: Smart Array B120i SATA RAID Controller (RAID 0/1) . Dále bych k tomu potřeboval koupit terminál server pro 8 uživatelů. Poradíte mi jaká licence je k tomuto vhodná?

Dobrý deň, podľa oficiálnych informácií Microsoftu je možné používať RDS s limitom 50 spojení a nakúpenými licenciami RDS CAL pre vzdialený prístup. Je táto verzia nejako špeciálne upravená (prihliadnuc na popis)? External Link

Dobrý den, zajímalo by mne co vše obnáší HP BIOS lock, zda není možný přístup do BIOSu, nebo jsou omezeny jen nějaké možnosti nastavení, případně jaké. A dále zda nabízíte od Microsoftu CAL RDS licenci pro jednoho uživatele a za jakou cenu. 5 uživatelů je už zbytečně mnoho. Děkuji.
