Headtorch Ledlenser H8R is powered by a battery and lasts anywhere from 10 to 120 hours. The undisputed advantage of this flashlight is its tilting head, which allows you to turn the light cone up to 90°. It is also resistant to splashing water and impact, which is especially appreciated by fishermen, athletes and fans of outdoor activities. Advanced Focus System for Focusing the Light Beam
Ledlenser torches are the only ones in the world that use the principle of light refraction. Conventional torches only reflect light from reflective surfaces inside the head of a flashlight. The Advanced Focus System was created by connecting the lens and reflector. A reflector lens has been created to allow a beam of light to be sharpened with a smooth transition from a wide homogeneous circle of light into a sharp beam, and vice versa. This focusing is done by simply moving the head of the flashlight - forward (focus) or backward (blur).
7-Year Warranty with Gold-Plated Contacts
Approximately 70% of torches' faults are due to corrosion caused by acid or gas from batteries. Ledlenser batteries thus use gold-plated contacts, but thanks to this precious material, the Ledlenser can last for decades. Gold is an excellent electrical conductor and is extremely durable. It does not corrode and is highly resistant to chemicals. The power supplied by the batteries does not heat the contacts and is instead supplied to the LED. Thanks to gold-plated contacts, Ledlenser's electronics will work for decades.
