About writing

Stephen King's book On Writing is, despite its title, primarily about life.

Did you know that Stephen King doesn't even remember writing some of his lyrics because he suffered from drug and alcohol addiction? That he escaped death several times and was saved only by the love of his family - and his love of stories? That one of the world's most successful and richest writers came from poor circumstances and never got anything for free?

Despite its title, On Writing is primarily about life. You will read how a boy who had to grow up without a father and counted every penny for a long time became a millionaire. Of his boundless devotion to books and people. And you might even be inspired to do what you do, and it doesn't have to be writing, with more joy and passion.
