A truly unbelievable story which–divided into individual cases–took place between 1928 and 1935, and which is written in the annals of Czech criminology. However, not just in a complimentary way from the point of view of the security authorities' work.
A murderer evading justice for years, innocent people suspected and imprisoned, a tragedy for entire families. Questions of guilt, baseness, pettiness, hatred or social psychosis, characters without conscience, the hunt for sensations and media lynching as the meaning of life.
To a large extent, a film story, a possible basis for a thriller screenplay that might seem implausible, even though it is strictly based on documented facts.
